Juan Pablo Echeverri is a photographer and film maker, concentrating on self portraits. His work explores the possibilities of altered image, identity and gender in private fantasies, and the challenge of their representation in public. His researched and humoured productions parody and reproduce the celebration of narcissism within a carefully weighted photographic aesthetic.
